The Shreveport-Bossier area is jam-packed full of bands. Some specialize in Rock n Roll, others Contemporary Country, and still many more that play their own favorite genre of music. The "Red River Live" band specializes in.... well, we specialize in variety!

Whether you prefer to dance to Today's New Country, Classic Country, Rock-n-Roll, Cajun, Line Dance, Blues, or past Hit Instrumentals, you are sure to enjoy the music of

"Red River Live". Once the show begins, you'll find it hard to resist the urge to hit the dance floor.

Although all five members of our band are quite talented, we do played it safe and kept our day jobs. The one reason we play is for our love of music. Our goal during every show is to have a great time and to do our best to make sure that you do to.

  Mickey Rogé    

"Old Habits Are Hard To Break".

Mickey Rogé has performed in the local area for over thirty years providing live dance music at various establishments.

After his previous band of ten years disbanded in 2008, Mickey set out on a journey to find members for a new band that shared the same love for music as he had.

In April 2009 he accomplished his goal and founded "Red River Live".

 Wayne Grimes

Wayne grimes is the celebrity of the band. If you listen to the radio there's no doubt his voice would sound familiar to you. He is a favorite local disc jockey and has been in the radio industry for over twenty years.

Originally a Alabama native, Wayne started playing the bass guitar as a teenager and traveled aboard playing with various bands. Eventually the winding roads led him home to Shreveport.

To watch Wayne play his bass is entertainment all by itself.

    Calvin Joyner

   Calvin, " Chief " as we call him, is our drummer. Also a Shreveport native, he was raised on the banks on Red River.

     Calvin joined the military during the Vietnam War era and is now a retired Chief Master Sargent.

     He has traveled the world during his Air Force career and gained his drumming experience while traveling abroad.

     Mickey says: "Calvin is dedicated personified".

     Out of all the people I've played with over the years, I've never met a more dependable and dedicated person than Calvin . 

 Dale Spear

Dale is our lead singer/song writer. He comes from a very talented family in rural Red River Parish.

Dale has been singing and writing songs in church since the early age of eight.  Dale is somewhat of an "old heart" and enjoys singing older songs than most people his age

however, he can also sing songs you hear everyday on your radio. His talent extends much further than just country music.

Dale is gifted with a very unique voice that he is able to control like sharpshooter providing the band with that special something that brings it all together.

He has that unique ability to pinpoint each and every note he sings, not to mention the amazing range he has in his voice.

he also puts his heart and soul into every word he sings, and it shows in every song he sings.
